Its time to play in the garden!
I can not visit my mother at the hospital and I can not play in my garden either.
I need to rest.
So for mother's day, do it differently.
Don't buy her an all made up bouquet ask the florist to make you a bouquet of your choice or buy her, her favorite flowers.
If you don't know wich one they are call her up.
So, Today, my mom is coming out of the hospital, I went to the closest nursery no time or the strenght to shop around this time and I got her exactly what I had in mine.
FORSYTHIA NORTHERN GOLD AND 2 RHODODENDRON
Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the rhodo I wanted exactly so dont do like me look in magazine or encyclopedia to see wich one suits your area your zone.
So before we plant it we will check if it's a good one for her zone if not we will return them.
Nursery tend do that sometimes even tho its close to your house they sell different kind of stuff with different zone.

Mother's day
I hate the commercial where you see mothers tired of receiving flowers.
I am no mother so I ask my own mom and she answered:
Never never never in a million year she will be tired of flowers, she answered.
You can even give her a nice
herb garden for her own use.
French herbs
Italian herbs
Rosemary, thym, oregano, cilantro, chives...that she can put in the middle of her dinning table or near a window.
Lavander smell nice too. Give her something that will last more than a week.
If you are going for cut flowers go big not just i pack of tulip 3 or 5 or 7 packs

Woa! De plus en plus de fleurs dans le jardin et je n'étais pas la pour les vois j'ai passé la grande matinée à la clinique.
Le prognostic n'est pas bon.
Je dois prendre du repos. Bronchite et qui sait pneumonie...
Ce n'est vraiment pas un bon timing et ma mère toujours à l'hôpital que je ne peux malheureusement même pas la visiter du tout.
Fête des mères
Je déteste l'annonce que les mères sont tannées de recevoir des fleurs.
Je ne suis pas une mère alors j'ai demandé à ma propre mère et elle m'a dit:
Jamais. Jamais. Jamais. En cent ans, elle se tannera de recevoir des fleurs.

Alors faites le différemment. N'achetez pas un bouquet tout fait. Demandez à votre fleuriste de faire un bouquet pour votre mère ou achetez lui une fleur qui reste fleurie longtemps et pour toujours un orchidée.
Sinon aller en pépinière et dénichez lui un arbuste du printemps.
Forsythia, lilas, azalée,un hibiscus qu'elle entre l'hiver venu dans la maison et qui fleuri toute l'année.
Un beau laurier pour mettre sur le balcon pour cet été qu'elle peut également entrer dans la maison l'hiver.
Si il n'y a pas de place ou elle demeure pense lui a lui apporter des petites arbustes d'herbes fraiches thym, oregan, aneth, coriandre, menthe....
Alors comme ma mère sort aujourd'hui, j'ai pris toutes mes énergies et je me suis rendue à la pépinière la plus près. Pas le temps ou la force de magasiner pour un bon prix mais je suis vraiment sortie avec ce que j'avais en tête depuis le début.
